Reza Khalaj is a GIA Graduate Gemologist and the founder of RK & Co. Jewelers in Suwanee, GA. For 16 years, we have served clients from Suwanee, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Cumming, and the surrounding North Atlanta area. We buy and sell fine jewelry, estate pieces, diamonds, and pre-owned Rolex watches. We also offer jewelry repair and collateral loans on luxury assets.
RK & Co. Jewelers opened on September 10, 2010, in the middle of the recession. Reza started with a small budget and little inventory. His wife was the only employee. She had no retail experience. Most of the jewelry cases sat empty when they turned the lights on that first morning.
About 15 minutes later, the first customer walked through the door. His name was Scott E., and he needed a ring sized. After looking around the store, he asked how long they had been in business. “About 15 minutes,” Reza told him.
Sixteen years later, those same clients continue to come back. They send their friends and family for repairs, estate evaluations, and pieces they are proud to give. We are grateful for every one of them.
In the Community
Giving back has been part of who we are since the beginning.
In 2009, Reza lost his mother to breast cancer. In her honor, the store replaced the ampersand in its name with a pink ribbon. It has been part of our identity ever since.
We have partnered with Northside Hospital and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. A portion of every jewelry sale is donated to both organizations.
